The OBi Tripod Post gives you a simple way to carry your tripod securely on your backpack strap while keeping your hands free and your tripod right where you need it.

Mount the Tripod Post directly to your tripod using its 1/4"-20 mounting point, pair it with the OBi Link System on your pack, and you're sorted.

When you need your tripod, simply slide it off the Link System and get to work. When you're done, slide it back on and keep moving. No taking your pack off, no messing around with straps and buckles, and no carrying your tripod around in one hand all day.

On the firing line, it makes moving between stages quicker and easier. Out in the field, it keeps your tripod close at hand without getting in the way.

The Round Post M-lok or RPM mounts to the M-lok slot on the forend of your rifle stock or any other piece of gear with an M-lok slot or similar hole spacing. Once it is attached to your rifle or other equipment, it connects to any of the Lock or Grip On families.

The Quick Detach Post or QD P is the family's most straightforward and toolless post. The QDP attaches to any flush cup, whether it is on your rifle, camera cage, or any other piece of kit you may want to connect to your backpack. Insert into the flush cup hole, depress the brass ball on the front with your thumb, and push. To remove, place the post between your forefingers, depress the brass ball, and pull out.

The Grip On is one of the most versatile pieces in the OBi system, using a 9-inch adjustable strap to attach securely to round gear like tripod legs, binoculars, water bottles, cups and more. Once fitted, it creates a convenient receiver that allows compatible OBi accessories to be quickly docked when not in use, keeping gear organised and easy to access while you move. The Grip On includes a U-Plate Arca interface so it integrates with the wider OBi Lock ecosystem, and the strap tightens securely with an Allen bolt for a solid hold without being rigid. A good example is bolting an Anywhere Post on your shooting bag and sliding it into the Grip On after finishing a stage, then clamping your ARCA bipod onto the external ARCA interface so your bag and bipod stay together and easy to grab as you move to the next stage.

The adjustable strap wraps around your gear and cinches tight, creating a solid attachment point without needing special mounts or hardware.

A round post connection allows the item to move naturally instead of being locked rigidly in place. This helps your gear hang comfortably while walking and reduces stress on both the mount and your pack.

The included 9-inch adjustable strap fits most tripod legs, binocular barrels, bottles, and other cylindrical gear.

Simply wrap the strap around your item, pull it snug, and tighten the Allen bolt to lock it in place.

The Clamp Lock bolts directly onto webbing between ½ inch and 1½ inches, making it an easy way to add an OBi connection point to your backpack strap or belt. Once installed, it accepts any round or square OBi post, giving you a quick and secure place to dock compatible gear while keeping your hands free. Pair it with a round post in whatever configuration suits your setup — M-LOK, QD, or an Anywhere Post — and you can mount and carry anything from a support bag or tripod to a rifle right on your pack strap.
